We had excellent weather again this year for our Dalek Day at Forge Mill..
We had nearly 1200 visitors this year which was higher than last year’s total and, again this year, there were more adults than children.
The ‘Daleks’ put on an excellent show, if noisy, and worked really hard all day and the Dr Who’s were also there as was a Cyberman who was really good with children, young and old, for unique photographs.
A really excellent day and many visitors when they were leaving told us, on the gate, how much they had enjoyed it.
The Aliens exhibition in the museum gallery was so busy, with hundreds of visitors, that a queuing system had to be introduced as we were in danger of exceeding Health and Safety limits.
The Alien exhibition continued at Forge Mill until the 6th September where there was a final opportunity to visit the excellent exhibition.
